Have just returned to this site after a couple of years absence; thought it no longer existed after friendsreunited rejigged their site.
Just read Colin Jackson's account of his days as a schoolboy then a teacher at Mundella. If you taught chemistry i think I may have been your pupil in 1969; I was in 2P. I do remember "Nutty" Slack taking me for physics - that side of science still makes absolutely no sense to me. Chemistry I was OK at or so I thought until a rather dismissive comment was written in my school report along with an equally low exam score. I stuck to social sciences after the 3rd year - made so much more sense.
And now, I too teach, Early Years, here in Perth WA.
Thanks for a great read.
