Monty Taylor, Good to see your name there on the site. Caught a glimpse of a reference to Cliff Broughton. I'd like his email or contact number please. Yours, David

David/Lou,
Stan Hammersley is trying to catch up with you. Check out his name on the list, unless you've already done so.

It's been quite a day catching up on the Mundella website. It's late here in Perth but I just want to thank Julia, Alistair, Bob and Monty for reminders of the Scottish play. I gave a clumsy account of the major speeches by Ross, not one of my finest achievements. Get in touch anytime. All the very best to you all. Lou

I have recently managed to get hold of a photo of the Macbeth production, in which I played the lead in 1955, and I was delighted to see the old (made-up!) faces again. No news of the missing men, alas, though I know where Lady Macduff hangs out. I have just retired (prematurely) from lecturing in English at the University of Leeds and am in touch with a few old Mundellans from the 50s, but I would be interested to know what has happened to my fellow thespians. Glad to hear that Lou Measham is conducting himself and others well...

Monty, a Google search with 'David Measham' as the subject shows that Lou has had quite a wide success in the music business, particularly alongside James Galway!

There is a photo which I sent to the site of the production of Macbeth which does not have any information on it. The play was performed in 1955 and the people on the photo are L-R
Monty Taylor; Laurance Dexter;John Greenaway;Mick Miller;David Measham; Alistair Stead.
I had an email saying that David "Louie" Measham was now conducting an orchestra in Australia but no information of the others.
