At this time, exactly 12 months ago, a number of us were gathering at the Country Cottage Hotel in Ruddington to enjoy an evening together. And in almost 12 months, the opportunity will be repeated! If you haven’t yet recorded the date and venue in the calendar on your Smartphone, please do so. Alternatively, if you don’t have a smartphone, place a large Post-it note on your fridge door. The date of the Bi-Annual Reunion (as already advised) is Friday 30th June 2017. The venue, as always, The Country Cottage Hotel at Ruddington. I will be asking for names of attendees early in 2017. A few of us will also be meeting in London, probably at Fortnum & Masons, for a lunch on Wednesday 23rd November 2016. This will be to remember our great friend John Hartley who died on 23rd November 2015. John was always keen to meet at Fortnums twice a year to catch up on ;the news and to enjoy the company of his friends.If anyone wishes to join us, please let me know. robert@rmgoldsmith.demon.co.uk |
