As many of our readers will remember Dennis Wilshaw taught at Mundella during the early 50's.
Unfortunately my local paper "Wolverhampton Express and Star" reports
"Wolves were today mourning the death of one of the clubs greatest players.
Dennis Wilshaw a legend from the 1950's died of a heart attack at 7.30 last night(10/05/04)as he tended his garden at his Stoke home.
The former striker, who turned 78 in March, joined Wolves in 1944 and scored 172 goals in 378 matches.
See my previous comments under football - regarding Ted Huddlestone - does anyone remember him ??
