My mother was at Mundella 1923-27. Her name is Kathleen Horriben nee Parr. Her best friend was Greta Maltby who died a few years ago.Her older sister Elsie Parr was also at Mundella 1908--- ? My mother does not know of anyone else from her time at Mundella but she still lives in Nottingham. |

For the intake of 1945/6, this is the year of the big seven-O. All of those I am in contact with are fit, happy, living very productive lives and persistently 'Going Forward'. I am in touch with Alan Boaler, Alan Dowlman, Marian Birch, Pete Calvert, Tim Goodliffe ..... anyone else out there who would like to connect up during this special year? |

She still lives in a warden aided flat and does get out a little when escorted! She loved the card sent from Mundella on her 100th birthday. Still remembers a lot of the verses of school song My name was Joyce Coupe. I was at school 1944 to 1949 and married Bill Tyson 1943 to 1948 at Mundella. 50 years married last year!
